Introducing our solid Cherry and Ash Curved Corner Frames. Influenced by mid-century modernist design, these frames elevate a range of artworks and prints, and can be customised with different finishes and mounts options to suit your project. Each frame has been meticulously sanded and finished by hand, with a level of craftsmanship that ensures not only visual appeal but also lasting quality.

We originally started making these for clients in bespoke sizes at the beginning of 2020. We were please with the outcome, but they were quite a labour of love as we were lacking the tools and the perfect space over this period. We have since streamlined the production to offer these frames in one size and two different wood options, but we are of course able to make custom sizes to suit a particular piece.

We are committed to sustainable practices and responsibly sourced materials, ensuring that our frames are not only beautiful but also environmentally conscious.

• 500 x 600 rebate size This size we find works well with several artwork sizes as you can be creative with the borders and multi aperture window mounts. 

• Window mount Each frame comes with a soft white conservation extra thick window mount. Just let us know your artwork size and mount style preferences and we will cut a window mount to fit your piece. You can also send or bring your artwork to us for the full service.

• Glass spacers Paper wrapped wooden spacers can be added to the frame if you would like a box frame style instead of a window mount.

• Wood Finish Each frame can either have a natural wax applied to protect it and add a lustrous sheen, or a stain can be applied to create a different look. Cherry wood has quite a smooth uniform grain and works well with a deeper rosewood or teak stain. Ash has a more open grain which looks good stained very dark or left natural.

• Hanging fixtures The frames can either have wire in the back of the frame or in the mdf backing. Please let us know whether you would like the frame to be portrait or landscape orientation. If fitting yourself we would recommend adding brown framing tape to the back to protect the artwork from dust and prevent the frame from warping overtime. • Packaging: We often reuse packaging materials were possible in line with our sustainability practices. Please note Royal Mail and most standard couriers don’t insure glass, therefore we recommend either collecting in person, arranging a specialist courier, or using acrylic as an option. There’s also the option to order without glass, and have a local framer cut a piece to fit for you.

• Glazing We would recommend an antireflective glass where your budget allows. This really makes a difference to the overall look of the frame. All curved frame images on our website use Artglass, which has an antireflective coating and a 70% uv filter.

• Bespoke sizes We can also offer custom sizes up to 80 x 90 cm. Please get in touch for a quote.
